Our Cancellation Policy: Reservations are necessary!
Make a Reservation
San Diego Bike & Kayak Tours does require reservations to book our tours and reserve some rental equipment. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to cancel. No problem! If you need to cancel, please give us a courtesy phone call at (858) 454-1010 by 6 p.m. the evening prior to your tour time or rental reservation.
All reservations must be cancelled by the close of business one day prior to the reservations. All tours and reserved rentals must be cancelled by phone before the end of business the day prior to the reservation to avoid cancellation fees.
Terms and conditions of payment: For reservations, we do take a credit card to hold your spot for capacity purposes. However, it is to hold your spot and you can choose your method of payment upon arrival; it is not pre-paid, unless you elect this option at the time of reservation. If you choose to prepay for an advance reservation discount offer, this charge is non-refundable. All online ticket sales are final, except in the event of inclement weather. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, traveler's checks, and cash. No personal checks will be accepted.
Cancellations Fees: If you are assessed a cancellation fee, you may apply that charge to a reservation at a later time. Subject to availability and blackout dates.
Groups: All group reservations must be cancelled no later eight days prior to the group tour or group rental. Group tours or group rentals that are cancelled between two and seven days prior to the tour will be assessed a 50% non refundable deposit charged to the credit card on file. Group reservations require advance cancellations, subject to group size as determined by San Diego Bike & Kayak Tours. Please ask when making group reservations about the applicable cancellation deposit. A "group" is six or more people that have been given a special group discount. 
Cancellation process: We do offer non-prepaid reservations the opportunity to cancell 48 hours in advance. Please call us by 5 p.m. 48 hour prior to your tour or rental reservations. Any tours not cancelled by 5 p.m. the night before your scheduled tour will be assessed the full amount of the tour. No shows or non-cancelled tours will be charged for the reservation in full.
Our Adress is 2222 Avenida De La Playa. Please be sure you check into "2222," not to be confused with other kayak shops that offer similar services. Please be sure you check into the correct address! We are located at 2222 Avenida De La Playa and we have a RED AWNING above our front window... if there is no red awning, you are in the wrong place!
Holidays and Weekends: Special summer holidays and weekends require a 24 hour cancellation, or the full amount of the tour price will be assessed for cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead. Holiday weekends are defined as Friday- Monday for Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend.
