Explore downtown San Diego with this great introductory tour!

Begin this tour within the confines of Balboa Park, San Diego's cultural epicenter. Cycle through the plazas of Spanish architecture, housing world class museums and the San Diego Zoo. Descend into the urban grid via Park Boulevard, taking in views of the Coronado Bridge, Island, and Point Loma at sunset. We'll weave through the city past East Village and into the historic Gaslamp District.

Once linked to western icon Wyatt Earp, and later a Red Light District, the Gaslamp is now a flourishing area for restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and entertainment. The tour will ride along its streets towards Petco Park, home to the San Diego Padres, and then cruise along the Martin Luther King, Jr. Promenade near the trolley and Convention Center.

The tour will approach the Marina waterfront as the sun begins to set on the horizon. Passing Seaport Village, the Embarcadero, and more, riders will have a chance to view major attractions along the harbor's edge. The tour will come to completion with a panoramic view of San Diego Bay at sunset!

Then, the Downtown San Diego bike tour descends along the outskirts of the Gaslamp Quarter and Petco Park. Ride past the Convention Center to Seaport Village, and then over to the Maritime Musuem and the USS Midway along San Diego's stunning waterfront. Our downtown San Diego bike tour is about 1.5 hours in duration and is approximately 8 miles in length.
