La Jolla Cove

Because La Jolla Cove is part of the Ecological Reserve, the waters off this beach are reserved for swimming, snorkeling and diving only. The taking or possession of sea life or artifacts is prohibited. La Jolla Cove is also a popular launch area for open water swimmers. Kayaking in La Jolla Cove is not permitted, but kayakers can paddle nearby along the point.
